Webb18 juli 2024 · I had to because I needed VR and got the Tamron 70-200/2.8 VC to replace it. Nikon 80-200mm f/2.8 I've heard that the 80-200 AF-S had some focus motor issues. I'd probably skip it and look elsewhere. If you need f/2.8 and don't want to pay Nikon 70-200/2.8 prices, then seriously consider the Tamron 70-200/2.8 VC G2.
